A Touch Of Frost – Endangered Species is one of the later episodes in this award winning cops and crime drama series. The show is based on the novels by R. D. Wingfield, and David Jason stars in the lead role of gruff and tough Detective Inspector Jack Frost. He is joined by Bruce Alexander (who plays the incredibly officious Superintendent Norman Mullett), Blake Ritson (as DC Robert Presley, Frost’s sidekick), and John Lyons (DS Toolan, another colleague). Set in a fictitious and dreary town called Denton, “A Touch of Frost” contains a good dose of humour. Each episode features plots related to violence and/or murder, and Frost’s pursuit of the ladies is another fairly regular sub-plot in the show.
